New trends in cyber crime are emerging all the time, costing UK businesses millions every year. Cyber crime cost South West businesses alone nearly £2million in 2016.

DS Alex Dawson from the Devon and Cornwall Police Cyber Crime unit will explain the different and very latest types of fraud methods and how to recognise them.
Then Pete Woodward from the South West Cyber Security Cluster will share some top tips and best practices to avoid being caught out.
This will be followed by a talk by Steve Cross, Corporate Director and Technology / Cyber Specialist from Lorica Insurance Brokers. Steve will take us through a real life case study of how a number of key exposures cause financial loss to a business and the insurance coverage available to afford appropriate protection.
